We started the poster by copying an image based on Egypt to Adobe Photoshop. Then we worked on it to make it look like a poster by adding a background picture and pictures in front. We shaded, colored, darkened, copied, pasted the images concluding into a final result. We then flatten the image and then drag it to Illustrator to work on the texts. We thought of short and good slogans to write on the poster. After finishing the text, we saved it as a JPEG image so we could paste it on our blogs. I learned a skill which was to use different things to make the object look better. I felt okay and normal when doing the assignment. I felt like a problem solver because when I had a problem, I tried different stuff to delete it or make it better. This project increased my observation because I tried different things on Adobe Photoshop because I haven't used it in such a long time. I did not develop any further ideas but I was very satisfied with the results. I learned that we have to open our minds to different things to solve problms and be creative.

We (the class) started the project by finding an image then copy and paste it on Adobe Potoshop. After we're satisfied with the work we've done on the picture, we flatten the layers into 1, then we move the picture into a new document. We repeat this 4 times ending up with 4 different colors of your pictures. I learned that we have to open our minds and try different things. I felt relaxed and calm during the assignment. I felt like a problem solver because when i couldn't do something, I tried different stuff until I find the solution. This assignment increased my observation because now I know more about Adobe Potoshop. Yes I developed my ideas because I try lots and lots of things. I was very satisfied with final results. I learned that you have to try different things and open your mind so more creativity will come into your mind.

Tesellations

I had to do another assignment, on tesellations. I used curved and straight lines to make a design. Then I copied another 5 so I have six. Then I colored it with black, yellow, dark green, red, blue and light blue. Then I pasted the tiles on a big piece of paper in a Z-shaped look. No I didn't learn a skill. Yes it increased my observation. No, I didn't develop any further ideas. Yes I was satisfied with my final results. Finally, no I didn't make any real life connections.

Lines and Colors

I had to do an assignment using lines and colors. The first thing you had to was to get a design then use black and white to balance the amount of the color on the paper to show balance and unity. I used diagonal, vertical and horizontal lines and I colored it zig-zag, black and white. I learned a skill that you have to balance art and unite them. I felt normal and a little bit relaxed when I was working on the assignment. No I did not felt like a problem solver at any level. No I didn't increase my observation. No I didn't develop any further ideas. And yes I was satisfied with my results. I learned that I should use balance and unity while making an art work. Finally, no I didn't make any real life connections.

Nike Swosh

What is behind the Nike swoosh?

The Nike swoosh came from the greek goddess named Nike. She had wings, and on her wings she had the swoosh on it. Nike was the goddess of victory. So the Nike store sells sports stuff, and the logo represents victory. So you can be victorious while playing sports. Roger Federer wears 7 nike clothing. 1 on his headband, 1 on his shirt, 1 on each socks (2), and 1 on each hand band (2). And you know what happened? He won the tournament! Next time... wear NIKE!
